Happy Mid-Autumn | Mooncakes

Img Src: SKYSCANNER

Today September 27th is the day Mid-Autumn Festival is celebrated.
Mooncakes are eaten during this festival - families will get together and sharing mooncakes while watching the moon. Similar tradition/ festival in Japan is Tsukimi [Literally moon-viewing].

Traditional Mooncakes Fillings/Flavors are:
Lotus seed paste, Sweet bean paste, Five kernel, Egg yolk, Jujube paste.

Nowadays, there are a lot of new Mooncake flavors/ fillings to choose. Starting from Durian flavor/filling, cream cheese filling, Seafood filling [What??] and many more.

But today, I'm going to show you few Mooncakes that I bought recently from Good Chen Moon Cake.

And that's it. The Mooncake is cute, but what important is the taste is unique and yummy! I have bought another 2 Mooncakes, but haven't open them yet.

Anyway, I might not be posting update regularly as I used to, as my sem is already started, - it's not like I have interesting story to tell anyway right? lol
But hey, I will be visiting you when I can even when I am not posting an update.
Until then, Have a nice day & Happy blogging! Ja ne~ ~ Pai pai~ ~

    1. Japanese festival is Tsukimi [Moon viewing], but unlike Chinese, Japanese festival food is rice dumplings, Tsukimi dango. ◕ ◡ ◕
